You probably have a house (or a place to live), a car (or means of transport), have a job, go out most weekends, or maybe have kids and do things with them. You have a relatively happy life, but… You are not happy.

Is this you?

There is not enough. Never enough. Because you compare your life to somebody else’s.

Why do you compare yourself to others?

You are unique, Your life is unique Your house is unique, Your kids are one of the kind…

So why do you compare yourself to other’s? Why do you live in a place called Comparisonville? It is time to move out and start to appreciate what you have right now.

Never look at other’s life to make scores – this is never a fair game. Never was, and never will be. Don’t waste your life living somebody else’s dreams –what is good for them may not be the best for you.

Ask yourself: What do I want? What do I need? What do I need to do to get it?

The only time you should look at others, who, in your opinion have a better life than is, is when you want to improve your life. Look at them and see what you can learn from them. If there is something you need to know, just ask them – most people are willing to help others. All you need to do is to ask.

As Hugh Hefner said: ‘Life is too short to live somebody else’s dream’.

Make sure you live yours

To your happiness…
