At some point in life we all suffer from it.

Here how it goes….

We set our goals and work on moving closer to them every day. We start experiencing a nice feeling of happiness, freedom? We achieve success to some extent and then…

We compare it to the other’s achievement. We even, unconsciously enter ‘the competition game’; who has better what, who has more of what, who is slimmer, who is richer, etc.

WHY?

We are conditioned to do it.

When you were younger you must have hear phrases like “what the neighbours are going to think?” or “what others are going to say?” we are expected to please others. Our needs, dreams, plan go on the second plan.

If you do that, it is time to STOP.

STOP comparing your life to other’s. You are unique. There is only one YOU in this world. And your dreams/goals cannot be compared to other’s. You have your own reason behind them, and your own motivation.

Give up this ‘what-others-will-think-of-me’ attitude.

They don’t care about you.

Let me repeat that: THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE.

You are the only one who is responsible for your life. You have control.

Mind your own business. If you won’t, nobody else will.

Treat yourself from Comparison-itis.

The only person you should ever compare your achievements is your past achievements.

The only person you should ever compete with is YOU

To your happiness …
