There is no doubt, that in life we have good and bad experiences. Their value (good or bad) for us is determined by our interpretation of the circumstances, the situation and the outcome. Funny enough, when we look back to some of them, we realise that, what in the past felt like the end of the world, today we don’t even remember what it all was about.
Every experience is a learning experience. If you decide it to be that way.
You have control; you have the power to use the outcome to give you a direction for the rest of your life.
Most people, when something bad happens to them, look for somebody or something to blame. They sit and cry. Don’t get me wrong – I am not saying that letting your emotions out is bad – cry if you need to, scream if you need to. Go for a walk, run.
But then, after your negative emotions are gone, analyse the situation. Get the facts. Write everything down – “think on paper”. As more calm and relaxed you approach your situation/problem/issue, as better ideas you will have to sort the things out.
Make one of your goals to learn from every experience in your life – good or bad. Treat it as a rehearsal – maybe it is a gift wrapped in a problem?
You have the power; you have control.
