Sometimes I like to sit in silence and think. I learnt how to appriectae the silence: my days are filled with a lot of noise (of many kinds). Therefore, late in the evening, when everybody in my house is already sleeping, I like to sit down and relax and reflect on my day (this is also a time when I make a list of things I want to accomplish the next day). I like “listening” to the silence.

That is what I am doing right now – everybody is sleeping now and I am truly enjoying the SILENCE.

And thinking…

What is the greatest purpose in life?

Have you ever wondered why we are put on this planet? What we are supposed to do? What we are supposed to accomplish? How our lives are supposed to look like? What should be your only purpose in life?

Recently I read a book by Wayne Dyer. It was about about children and parenthood (“What do you really want for your children?”). The main line of this book was that the children only need one thing in life – your unconditional love. When they feel that you always love them, they will grow, develop and lead happy lives. If you offer your kids your love, they will show you its value. And children can teach us the value of love.

If you let them.

If you don’t have kids, you still can show your love to somebody. It is your spouse, your friend, your pet, etc. A love given is always a love given back to you.

As one prophet once said (I don’t know the name) “There are many virtues and values, but here’s the greatest: one person caring for another.” There is no greater value than love.

The only worthwhile purpose in life is love.

Unconditional love.

To your happiness…
